Mattress Buying 101
Choosing the right mattress has never been simpler. Use our 4 Step Guide to make your selection.
Step 1: Pick A Size.

Step 2: Choose Your Brand.
We search the market to bring you only the best brands and values in the industry. Pick from the following brands:
Step 3: Choose A Comfort Level.
When shopping our huge selection of mattresses you will find our comfort rating to be much simpler and easier to understand than walking into a huge room filled with mattresses. With all our mattresses we show you the comfort level right as you shop. What comfort level do you know you like?
Each person has different preferences and body types and what’s right for one person is not necessarily right for the next person. We make it easy by helping you focus on what you may already know that you like, and by matching you up with the level and type that applies to your sleeping style and preference. Side Sleepers rarely sleep well on Extra Firm to Medium-Firm beds. Stomach Sleepers rarely sleep well on Soft to Super-Soft mattresses. Back pain sufferers typically find more relief in Medium-Firm to Medium.
Once you narrow it down to the firmness level that you like, view our comparison chart to see the differences from model to model. We have ranked all of the mattresses in order on firmest to softest for your convenience.
Step 4: Choose Your Foundation.

Once you have selected your mattress you have 3 choices of foundations (or box springs): a 9” Height, a 5” Height, or an Ergonomic Adjustable Base.
Box Spring Foundations
There is no quality, feel, or price difference between the 9” or the 5” height box springs. The 5” low profile box spring will contain the same type of support system just with a shorter structure. To choose between the 9” and the 5” heights add the posted height of the mattress and the height of the box spring and measure up from where they will rest on your bed rails or bed frame. Make sure where the top of the mattress will be will be comfortable for you to get in and out of the bed. Take note of where the top of the mattress will come up to on your headboard.
Ergonomic Adjustable Bases
Instead of getting a box spring you have the option to upgrade to the Ergonomic Adjustable Base. It is amazing how many of our customers have benefitted from the ability to take the mattress of their choice and raise the feet or head to position their body in the posture that relieves the most pressure. From Flat to the fully upright seated position, the Ergonomic Adjustable base is perfect for providing shoulder, hip, and lower back relief. Additionally, for those who read, work, or watch tv in bed, as opposed to piling up a stack of lumpy pillows, the Ergo base can position your body to the Ergonomically correct upright position. Invest in your sleep and your lifestyle with the Ergo base.
